NEW YORK — Adama Sanogo, the UConn males’s basketball staff’s 6-foot-9 junior heart, used to be tabbed through Big East coaches because the league’s preseason Player of the Year, the convention introduced Tuesday at the once a year media day match at Madison Square Garden.
