NEW YORK (AP) — Marquette native Adam Hamari might be some of the Major League Baseball umpires running the brand new MLB wild-card series that began Friday and ends Sunday.
Hamari was once in the beginning base for Friday’s opener of the Cleveland-Tampa Bay series in the American League, and if the standard umpire rotation holds, will be the house plate umpire for his or her recreation lately.

Marquez will umpire the NL series between the New York Mets and San Diego and be joined in the opener through Adrian Johnson at the back of the plate, Chris Guccione in the beginning bae, Chris Conroy at 2nd, Bruce Dreckman in left box and Ben May in proper.
Whitson, Ortiz, Libka and May might be making their postseason debuts.
Dan Bellino, Rob Drake, Manny Gonzalez and Mark Wegner would be the replay umpires.
Iassogna will paintings the best-of-five Division Series involving the New York Yankees and can paintings the opener at 2nd base, as will the opposite team chiefs. He might be joined in the opener through Jordan Baker at the back of the plate, Jeremie Rehak in the beginning base, Will Little at 3rd, Alan Porter in left box and Mark Ripperger in proper.
