Kacey Musgraves grabs a beer from Beto O’Rourke on ACL Fest stage

‘That truly hit the spot.’

It seems that Texas gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke has landed but any other famous person endorsement. During Kacey Musgraves’ headlining efficiency at Weekend Two of the Austin City Limits Music Festival on Sunday, the 34-year-old nation singer and songwriter paused between songs and stated: “Honestly, I could use a drink. Is there any beer or anything out there?” 

That’s when O’Rourke in short confirmed up on stage to ship a bottle of beer, announcing not anything in any respect. As Musgraves held her guitar and took a couple of sips, O’Rourke smiled at her and became to wave to the screaming and cheering crowd. “That really hit the spot,” the six-time Grammy Award-winning singer stated as O’Rourke exited the stage. In clips shared on-line of the change, somebody is heard shouting “oh my f–king God.” Though O’Rourke was once now not visual, the target audience then started to chant his title.

Fans rapidly reacted to the silent endorsement on social media. “Didn’t think I could love her more. This is amazing,” one fan wrote on Twitter. “He’s literally gonna be at every concert in Texas between now and election day,” wrote any other. “Beto bringing Kacey Musgraves a beer in the middle of her set is everything I never knew I needed,” tweeted any other.

It’s the second one time Musgraves used the ACL stage this 12 months to get political. During her Weekend One efficiency on the track competition, the Golden, Texas local took a dig Sen.
